Community Soup & Bread Swap This Sunday—Bring a Batch & Take Home Warmth
Neighbors cooking together: Sunday 2–4pm at the community center. Bring a pot of homemade soup (or bread), swap recipes, and leave with a variety to feed your week.
Cold-weather comfort starts with a full freezer—and full hearts. This Sunday, we're gathering to swap soups and breads, the kind neighbors have been sharing for generations. Bring whatever you've simmered: minestrone, chili, tomato basil, lentil—just label it with ingredients for allergies. No soup? Homemade bread, rolls, or focaccia count too. You'll leave with three or four varieties to reheat all week, plus the recipes to make them yourself. It's low-pressure, high-reward: show up, set down your pot, chat while you browse, and grab what sounds good. Bring containers to carry your swaps home in. Kids welcome—they love the taste-testing part.
